Hi, all! My name is Emma — I am the founder and creative behind Gemma Bridal.
My journey in fashion started in second grade when I taught myself to sew on my first sewing machine. My love of sewing and bridal met when I was sixteen and landed my first job at a local bridal shop in my hometown of Parkersburg, WV. Then, it was during my time studying Fashion Design that I set my sights on opening a bridal boutique. Getting to work with brides each day and help create THE look they’ll wear down the aisle (or mountain, court house, beach.. you get it), pinch me, I must be dreaming!
Having gone through the process myself, I saw a need for a bridal shop that was laid-back, had a unique offering, and celebrated each individual who walked through the door. Enter, Gemma Bridal. The bridal boutique for the modern, unforgettable bride. I am so happy you are here! Let’s make bridal magic happen.

My name is Maggie - I am the manger at Gemma Bridal!
As the lead stylist, official playlist curator, and manager of the shop, my face is the one you will see the most!
I went to school at the University of Delaware for fashion merchandising. Before I started at Gemma Bridal, I worked in costume/wardrobe departments for theatre, film, and television. My favorite thing about working at Gemma is the blend of creativity and fashion as well as the personalized one-on-one experience I can create for brides. My goal is to have the most fun possible while finding you the dress of your dreams! And I might shed a few tears when you find the one - I'm a softie!
When I'm not at Gemma, you can find me dancing around Pittsburgh or snuggling with my two cats. I'm an avid yogi, wine lover, concert-goer, and fun seeker.
