Our Founder

Hi, all! My name is Emma — I am the founder and creative behind Gemma Bridal. As the head stylist, alterations specialist, and official playlist creator, my face is the one you will see the most!

My journey in fashion started in second grade when I taught myself to sew on my first sewing machine. My love of sewing and bridal met when I was sixteen and landed my first job at a local bridal shop in my hometown of Parkersburg, WV. Then, it was during my time studying Fashion Design that I set my sights on opening a bridal boutique. Getting to work with brides each day and help create THE look they’ll wear down the aisle (or mountain, court house, beach.. you get it), pinch me, I must be dreaming! 

Having gone through the process myself, I saw a need for a bridal shop that was laid-back, had a unique offering, and celebrated each individual who walked through the door. Enter, Gemma Bridal.
